Answer : Whenever we see a logo design we see body of the logo and empty space within the logo. The empty space within the logo design we called Negative Space in logo design.

You see we just add circle in the mid of the G logo and the empty space now look like letter C. So here we use the negative space of G logo to create letter C in it. Now this logo is become a Negative space logo design.
What is the difference between Normal logo and a Negative space logo?
As you can see below we have Normal Logo design and Negative Space logo design. In negative logo design empty space is used to create letter C in it. The main thing that makes a logo negative space logo design is that its negative space is used to create another element in it.
